Dominican Convent is a private Roman Catholic day school for girls in Harare. However the school recently introduced Boarding facilities. It is the oldest school in Harare, established in 1892. The school was initially co-educational, but after ten years, a separate school, Hartmann House, was established for boys. The Dominican Convent School (Harare) is made of the Dominican Convent Early Child Development Centre (ECD), Dominican Convent Primary School, and Dominican Convent High School. It is widely regarded as one of the premier Catholic schools in Zimbabwe, Southern Africa, and the world at large.
